Story set in Tortall after the events of the Tricksters Choice instalment of Pierce's universe. A mage has summoned someone from our universe for unknown reasons, and she must learn the ways of Tortall and learn to control her newfound magic. A very vague idea I had, that may or may not work.

When conflicting reports come from Tortall's borders bringing news of intrigue and hints of war, Jonathan sends out Numair and Daine to verify which information is accurate. When Daine stops sending reports, it's a race to try and find her. When they finally do, the information she has to report turns peace into war, bring the dead back to haunt the living. Their simple plan is destroyed when they reach Fort Salydis and find that the mysterious Lady will only trade information for dangerous tricks… and the more deadly, the better. D/N

Sequel to 'Asylum'. You cannot forget your past when your crimes return to haunt you. A treaty following the gruesome battle of the borders turns sour when the Gallan ambassadors demand that two murderous fugitives, Daine and Numair, are brought to justice by the Tortallan court.

Based on a keyword writing prompt: a collection of D/N stories! Most of these are new with a few of my older ones which I've revised since they belong in this collection. They skip around in time a little bit, and range from fluff to angst to adventure to… well, whatever the keywords suggest! Enjoy.

Wanted criminal Numair Salmalin shadows the Cart Hak Rail Company as it moves through the West. He finds Daine, a dangerous outlaw wanted for the murder of the twelve bandits who killed her family. Daine is the only person who can expose the corrupt Cart Hak Chairman and clear Numair's name, but her help comes at a heavy price. D/N, AU, fluff, Western Magic/Fantasy
