A short one-shot AU of the movie Fahrenheit 451 for Coffee Time Films to celebrate having already published 50 stories. (It's my 51st; get it, 451 for fifty-one? Oh well...) Beware the Ray Bradbury title puns. I don't own these characters but I own a BBQ that cremates dinner on a regular basis.

This is about the pedestrian the story that inspired Fahreheit 451. I wrote it a long time ago and just wanted to see how it would do.

A short, whimsical piece of writing, inspired by Fahrenheit 451. Sometimes, you simply feel the need to write, to liberate your lump of synapses from the chaotic thing we call life, that which is ignorant and uncaring of your deepest, most secret thoughts.

The Story of Clarisse

A short poem containing Montag's feelings towards his wife, Mildred and the strange girl across the street, Clarisse. (This was written for a school project, and the lines with page numbers following are quotes taken from the book! I take no credit for the lines that have a page number following them. All the rest with no page number are my thoughts and writing!)

The war has finally started and what's worse is that the nuclear explosion created a shock wave that short circuited all electronics in the US. Clarisse, Beatty, and Montag seemingly have nowhere to turn to but a warehouse full of books.

Basically this is a metaphorical story of what humankind can become if we forget our humanity, tied into the classic book, Fahrenheit 451, by Ray Bradbury. Future humanity is portrayed by the cloaked figure, who is referred to as "he." This is not traditional fanfiction, but I hope you enjoy at least the style of writing. (Also, I apologize in advance for the messed up themes.)

What made Captain Betty so spiteful towards books? Books were his passion and his knowledge, yet when he needed answers the most all he found were empty words.

Montag, Granger, and the others return to the city to find it in ruins. When Montag stumbles upon his own house and hears a voice that sounds strangely like Millie, who couldn't possibly have survived, he finds out what is happening.

This is a short poem that is from the main character's point of view as he struggles through all the conflicting voices in his head to find his own way to rebuild at the end of the novel. Bad summary,I know, but give it a chance and at the very least read it for a different view of the entire novel.
