What's the story with the raven from Poe's The Raven?

Suppose the obsessive narrator from the original poem might have inadvertently willed Lenore's spirit into a reluctant haunting. He'd be literally dragging her down with him. I imagine Lenore might have some strong feelings about that. I took the song "Black Cat" by Janet Jackson and crammed in as many Poe references as I could. Feel free to perform this at karaoke clubs.

(Prequel to the famous work of Edgar Allen Poe "A Tell-Tale Heart") This is describing the events that led to the old man getting his evil eye. It's not a happy tale, but it was fun to write and I'm pretty proud of it. I did this for school and made into a fanfiction. I was tired when I wrote this so don't too judge harshly. Masque of the Red Death fic. Where the devil did that clock come from? The Duke doesn't know it, but his guilt will pursue him wherever he tries to hide.

"Tell me…what do you think happens when we die?"/ In which an old man on the brink of death is visited by an even older friend...or in which two undeserving men ponder the consequences of their actions in life on what comes after their death./ One-shot. Crossover between Most Dangerous Game & Cask of Amontillado...yes, it's an odd mix, but there have been stranger things on here.

Set 50 years after the events of The Cask of the Amontillado, we follow Fortunato's granddaughter, Isabella, as she learns the truth behind Fortunato's death and then uses this newfound knowledge to try and obtain justice for her family name. Quick one-shot I wrote for a short story class in university. Please R&R! :)

In Edgar Allen Poe's -The Cask of Amontillado- we know that Fortunato offered Montresor a great insult, and it was this that led to his murder. But just what was it that had offended him so? One-shot. It's my first published story, so tell me what you think!

This story contains a vast amount of vocabulary that kids may not be able to comprehend. Violence is brief but exposure is seen in the story. One added character is the Old Man's family. Venture hither through the vaults, in full resolve to pay your faults. Hope and pray you choke upon the nitre just before. Intoxication, tainting vice- accounted for to count your price, And here I was pedantic, we needn't any gore. Bind you to your sins, set in stone unopened doors. Tonight I'll work and nothing more. /The Cask of Amontillado Retold in the style of The Raven.

A re-work of "Masque of the Red Death" told in the style of Dr. Seuss. Rated T because...Poe.

Well, last semester in literature class at uni, the teacher asked us to do an alternative ending of the story. I wrote it, and in class my team made the performance. Hope you like it. Also, I want to thank to a friend, who corrected my little grammar mistakes. Oh!, I almost forgot to mention that English is not my native language, so this is a good way to improve my writing skills.

This is a story that I had to write for school, in the style of Edgar Allen Poe, but turned out really well. Just read it, and don't think that it's exactly like one of Poe's dreary stories. Amara and her family always seemed normal, if but a little out there, but there's one thing she's always had to hide: the fact that her entire family is mentally insane. Rated T for violence.
