It hasn't been long since the summer festival yet everything appears to be the same as they were between Nishikata and Takagi. Looks however, can be somewhat deceiving. Nishikata has lost to Takagi so many times at their games and contests, that it's hard to keep count. But this time, he's come up with (another) foolproof plan that can't possibly fail! Question is, will he be able to get over his own embarrassment to see it through?

At last! After all this time, Nishikata finally has a (mostly) foolproof plan to get back at Takagi. If he can pull everything off, then he'll finally get the win he's struggled so hard for. Unfortunately for him, Takagi already has him figured out and is ready to turn it to her own advantage.

As Takagi and Nishikata walk home together from school one afternoon, she surprisingly asks about his upcoming birthday, his taste in presents, and people who are coming to his party. With her showing so much interest in his birthday party, nothing more surprises him then what she says next.

'If you want to win against me so much, then hold my hand, and you win.' Takagi reflects on her relationship with Nishikata.

High school is over, and Nishikata and Takagi waste no time in getting married. The newly weds take a trip to the local park for a picnic, but little does Nishikata know he's about to receive some life-changing news.

This story is transcribing an unaired skit of Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san that is titled as 'Note'. It is about Takagi returning back to school after being absent for a few days from a fever. She returns the notes she borrowed from Nishikata, but those notes play a special role to prank him.

Nishikata and Takagi attend their first school dance, and end up sharing it together in a moment that they will never forget.
