With the passage of time and a long silence from Van, Hitomi finds the strength to put distance between Gaea and herself. As an adult, Hitomi hopes for nothing but a normal life, but supernatural forces continue to interfere with that wish. Hitomi has just returned to Earth after her adventures on Gaea. How does she deal with normal life after such an adventure? I am redoing this story. A man with black hair and crimson eyes watched his love fall onto the ground with a puddle of blood around her. Her hair was stained red from the blood of her friend, Yukari.

Hitomi finds herself on Gaea, discovering a past she had forgotten. A family she never knew existed. A kingdom she was destined to rule. All because she was spirited away from Earth by a raven-haired King, who has more importance in her life than simply being the main figure of her visions and dreams.

During a storm, a wandering exile finds refuge in a cottage in the woods, which happens to be owned by a curious cat-girl.

Hitomio and Von prepare to defeat the Zaibach and its crazed empror once and for all. Nonetheless, their fondest wishes are their own worst enemy.

Set a decade after the events in the anime. Hitomi has all but forgotten the experiences in Gaia. The years were tough on her as she has always felt that she's been stuck in the state between dreaming and waking. She acknowledges a powerful force that keeps moving forward; a promise, but a promise to who? She has forgotten.

It's not easy being heir to the throne, especially when ancient customs require prince Van to still undergo the rite of dragon-slaying but after that is done and over with, all he wants is a cup of coffee. If you thought such a simple pleasure would come without complications for a future king, think again. AU

*Finished* Alternate Universe. Hitomi Kanzaki has the life she wants, quiet and very normal in nearly every way. Until the day the new transfer student arrived and turned her whole world upside down. Set right after Hitomi and Van parted in the final episode of the Anime. Van, left to his own thoughts, considers the future and his promise to raise Fanelia out of the ashes. A prequel to chapter 2 of Between Waking and Sleep.

During a Zaibach festival, the Dragonslayers visit a fortune teller who shares some dire warnings.

After the end of the TV series, Hitomi and Van are finally reunited. Since I felt that the show ends in a somewhat... lackluster way, I decided to make an epilogue that's probably more lackluster, but at least Van and Hitomi have a true happy ending. This extremely short one shot was an abandoned one shot of mine that I've hastily finished to get back into things following a hiatus

"I know you're the psychic, but this time I just have a funny feeling about this year," Yukari said mysteriously, before adding, "I feel like something big is coming, and whatever it is will change everything."
