In this non-magical alternate universe, Homura is the daughter of a couple rich eccentrics who act like they're nobility, and she shares a lavish western-style mansion with her 4 other siblings. This is a proof of concept. It may or may not become a longer future project, depending on reception.

Tricking the education system into thinking that she was somehow a sane, mentally sound, innocent fifteen year old was not the hardest thing Homura had ever done. But it should be remarked that this was less a statement of the difficulty of the task, and moreso one on the difficulty of her life. M for kyoko swearing a bit, and thoughts of suicide.

In one particular world Homura finds that coffee has more use than just a way to start the day.

There's one place where Homura can fully express how this all feels.

Sayaka and Kyoko were planning on having a quiet evening together when Madoka arrived, asking if she could talk about something important. After revealing her secret, Sayaka and Kyoko share theirs too. Sayaka x Kyoko and Madoka x Homura

A classmate shoves a book into Homura's hands and the lines are marred by tears.

Madoka was left behind. She told herself it was her choice but sometimes it didn't feel this way.

In some way this was making life better for herself, even though it would look weird to an outsider.

Sayaka keeps seeing a girl in red and it's too many times to be a coincidence.

Madoka, Homura, and Sayaka decide to take a day off and go to a shopping mall. Or rather, Sayaka gets dragged into it. She proceeds to get annoyed to death by the two obvious lovers' PDA of questionable intent among other things. Is this some elaborate prank, or are they really that obnoxious?
