My short idea of what could happen after episode 12 "Vaulting ambition". Especially to Gabriel Lorca. Wrote it before finishing the first season. Very slight Burnham/Lorca.

During transit USS Enterprise finds Prime Captain Gabriel Lorca. It forces Kat to change her plans for the future, troubles Michael and Ash while Gabriel is forced to accept that everything isn't what it used to be. Chris has to find the 'red angel' and Una has to get the Enterprise space-worthy...

One deep space station pitstop, one seedy bar, one shady Orion, the reappearance of an old friend/enemy (entirely dependent on who you asked), a dozen officers on shore leave and a hidden treasure. All of the above can only equal one thing for Captain Pike and the crew of the Discovery as they embark on another dramatic space adventure: trouble. Pike Whump. Pike/Michael.

Sienna Lorca-Tyler gets Kidnapped by Harry Mudd and everyone has to try and find her. Her godfather Paul Stamets finds her, traumatized and she becomes attached to him, then to Christopher Pike and Paul.
