30 years after Galvatron turns back into Megatron but later got killed by Starscream, Starscream became leader of of the Decepticons, rushing his plans to dominate Cybertron with the help of Skywarp and his comrades. Soundwave, now leader after Megatron must face a difficult strategy stopping Starscream and curing the rest of the Decepticons.

Shortly before season 2 starts, the Rescue Bots get new recruits assigned by Optimus Prime, both human and cybertronian. This is a brand-new fan-continuity inspired mostly by G1, but with references to other continuities as well.
