The original Van Der Linde family was Dutch, Hosea, Susan, Arthur and John. And that little girl with no name they found one night, alone and surrounded by death in a forest. She doesn't remember her past but she doesn't care, she's happy with her new enlarging gang. Until the events of Blackwater bring part of that past up and she'll finally decide to investigate on her origins.

Basically a retelling of the events of Red Dead Redemption 2 to include a character that popped into my head. As you might have guessed she is John's sister, his little sister. Her name is Dani and she is very gay and I'm basically writing this because I need more gay Sadie in my life okay? Okay.

Hosea wrapped his arms around him, and he could hear the gang walking away to give them their privacy, his face wet where he rested it against his back, his breath hitching with quiet sobs, reaching down out of habit to run his fingers through Arthur's hair only to pause, hand hovering awkwardly, a strangled sound breaking in his throat, and he wrapped his arms around them both.

Micah had practically delivered Morgan into their hands, had all-but delivered him to them on a silver platter, and they had still managed to mess up. Had managed to let him escape, get away, get back to camp. But he was sick. Helpless. Weak. And you know what they say. 'If you want something done right, you have to do it yourself.'

Blackfoot's mother liked to say she was 'intuitive'. And that wasn't a good thing. Wolves aren't 'intuitive', they think. They think hard, perhaps too hard, and too much. Blackfoot's instincts guided her, seldom led her wrong. But to wolves, listening just to your instincts just isn't done. Yet, when she saw the man in the snowstorm, slumped over his horse, she couldn't walk away.

Whumptober: Arthur was weak, and hurt, and tired. Dutch tried, but there was nothing he could do, the soldiers weren't willing to wait for him, wouldn't show him any mercy.

After the death of her master, a vampire seeks retribution of some sort. When she finds the murderer, she learns that he is anything but the average mortal.

Whumptober2019: Dutch hadn't thought, had acted out of habit. When they'd stopped their horses, dismounted to let them drink and rest, he'd clapped Arthur on the shoulder (Hosea hissed, drawing his breath) and pulled him in for a one-armed hug, booming "That was incredible, son!" Dutch had frozen when he realized what he'd done, expecting Arthur to cower, or cringe, or to bolt.

Whumptober2019: Arthur should have known something would happen. Every time, every single time, he tried to take a break from the gang, something went wrong. So why would this time be different?
