A brief charname and Dorn interaction, separate from my Fallen story. It takes place just after clearing the Nashkel mines. I was always struck by how practical Dorn was as an "evil" character, but I never knew what to do with him writing wise.

Valla's fall from grace is badly timed with a mage to hunt and Imoen to retrieve. The voices are even louder than before and she has nothing but her own will and fragmented mind to drive them back. Exploring a Fallen Paladin's struggles with the Taint, SOA through TOB.

Nearly drowned, marooned, infected with lycanthropy, and separated from her friends by a werewolf infested forest. Yeah. That seemed like the usual sort of beginning to one of Ashura's adventures. When Xan saves a drow's life, the entire party is doomed. For even an enchanter can't best Viconia's charms. If she isn't seducing males, Viconia is plotting Rasaad's demise. Light will triumph over darkness though, the Sun Soul Monk believes, with people like Imoen and her sister… even if the half-elf has a weird obsession with him being shirtless. This story grew from a no reload playthrough of Baldurs Gate. And grew and grew. Until it was far more of an ongoing journal of Ayla's (the Reluctant Bhaalspawn herself) Adventures Adventuring. She's not so much reluctant about being a Bhaalspawn, more fed up with what that keeps on forcing her to do when the pubs are open.

There was an entry in Sarevok's diary describing a dream he had about his mother, and how he saw her being strangled to death. Out of all the entries he made, that was the one that stuck with me the most. So, I decided to write it. CONTENT WARNING: domestic abuse, mentions of rape and character death.
