*This was my first Final Space fic that I ever wrote, taking place after Episode 4.* Gary has a dream about his father.

Gary has to wonder that for a father who is so eager to find his son, Avocato doesn't mention his lover a whole lot. And when Gary asks him out of curiosity, he gets a story he probably wished he hadn't heard about a loving wife and the birth of Little Cato. Rated M for some gruesome detail.

After Episode 3 when the crew have gone to sleep Gary has a nightmare and talks to HUE, only to find he has a problem.

Reality begins to sink in as Gary reflects upon Avocato’s death.
