The door swung open. A girl walked in. Her eyes, a dark, chocolatey brown sparkled in the light. He recognized those eyes. Beautiful. No. It couldn't be. El was dead. The girl examined the classroom, looking around carefully. Then her eyes fell on Mike. She let out a little gasp, eyes widening. No, El was gone. So Mike just kept tapping his pencil. 1,754 times. For 1,754 days.

This is a novelization of Netflix's original series Stranger Things. I do not own the characters, settings, or plotlines. I only hope to put the Duffer brothers' fantastic story and characters into words. I tried to keep all the dialogue and the events the same, and I tried to be creative, but true to the characters, when filling in inner thoughts. Hope you enjoy it!

The small town of Carmel-by-the-Sea seems calm and beautiful at first, and it is perfect. But after Will Byers meets some strange new friends, things take a turn. People start to go missing, and this girl, Jane, seems to know more than she is letting on.

There was something inside of Will, quiet enough that he could ignore it most of the time. It started to grow louder, though, ceasing to bother hiding itself. It manifested itself in the ways he wasn't like other kids, in the knot he got in his stomach when his friends talked about girls and he felt like he couldn't say anything without someone seeing right through him.

Filling in the holes at the end of season two, and then some. Follows canon to the end of season two, rated T for some swearing but nothing worse than the show.

Eleven is a badass telekinetic, secret Disney lover hiding undercover in Chicago with her fellow Hawkins Lab escapee Kali and their gang of misfits. Mike Wheeler is a clumsy lovable nerd who gets mugged and finds himself being rescued by said badass telekinetic Disney loving girl. He wants to make it through life unscathed and she wants romance. Will they find the answer together?

The events that transpired back in the eighties are a long distant memory for Mike and Jane Wheeler, since those chaotic days their lives have been mostly peaceful, only being interrupted by the occasional death in the family. But nothing in this life lasts forever, now with the rise of the murderous Superboy wannabe, Brightburn, Jane finds herself forced to fight evil once again.

If you ask him to describe what rain smells like, Mike won't be able to. But he can explain in detail how wet tree bark feels when you lean against it, and what a rain-soaked t-shirt feels like against his skin. He could go on for hours about the taste of November rain on his lips as thunder follows him home, a stranger's hands clutching at his shoulders for support. [Drabble.]

The Shadow left its mark. No question about that. It got him. And something inside Will broke, that day. Will still trembles in terror at the flashbacks... but sometimes, something gets all twisted in his head. Sometimes, so late at night that no one else in the world could possibly be awake, Will thinks about Mike. He knows it's wrong. But then again, what about him isn't broken?

She loses herself to the kaleidoscopic, vibrant pink of the disco roller-rink, and her thoughts of yearning for her friends.
