Alec is strapped for cash and gets a two-month job on a ship. It's not ideal but it pays well and he needs the money, so he takes it. He did not expect that halfway through his job, they would be overtaken by a large storm, and that he would somehow end up on a strange, deserted island with only one mysterious man on it... little does he know that he is a part of a merman ritual..
