A broken kid died, only to be reborn in a seemingly perfect world with no place for the kid in it. Deciding to do what they do best, the kid engulfs themselves into stories, helping others along the way and gaining recognition as they write about their past world. Or: An Author even known by monsters finds themselves in the underground with a broken mind and a frayed soul. Oneshot.

I was kind of disappointed when I could "date" Papyrus and Alphys, and be friend undyne in their own unique side quests, but to go a whole game without re-visiting Toriel -w- come on. 0w0 so im making my own side-quest. This is…not a date nor a friendship, but imagine flowey telling you: "Maybe you should see Toriel and check up on her."

Just a warning: Sans and Papyrus don't have a good or happy relationship in this fic. It's not stated directly, but Papyrus wasn't a good brother (I hesitate to use the "bad brother" tag because I'm not entirely sure what it entails but I'm pretty sure it implies incestuous rape and that at least didn't happen in the backstory for this.) Based on the intermittent Handplates period when Sans and Papyrus knew how to write English, but couldn't speak it and signed instead. This leads to a lot of pandemonium. Feel free to let me know if you have any more ideas!

So maybe you were too kind. The world pummeled you over and over again. When a chance for freedom arises you take it and it gets you pushed down a mountain. For what purpose, you were following your parents will. Then again, they weren't the brightest bunch to begin with... How will the monster kingdom react to a monster from the surface?
