Written to curb my exasperation due to the utterly frustrating lack of intimacy in the show. These are a few imaginings of more fleshed-out moments of intimacy (not all physical) and domesticity to satisfy my craving for more Cassie and Sam.

It is still early in Sam and Cassie's relationship, but they obviously care a lot about each other. Sam is hurt and Cassie is worried.

It's Christmas 2018! During Christmas Eve and Christmas: Sam cooks (well); Cassie decides whether or not to stay next door; the Grey House family enjoys Christmas together

Summer, 2018. Gray House is visited by Nick and Grace - two retired mercenaries. Grace Lashield (Catherine Bell 1994) and Nick Gunnar parted ways over two decades ago. They come to Middleton separately, each haunted by their own demons, drawn to Gray House by Cassie's magic. Grace is a dead ringer for Cassie, causing a stir.

Cassie is having a hard time sleeping on the night before her wedding. Help comes from someone close by...

Season 2/3, after the Festival of Lights and during the time Dr. Radford and Ms. Nightingale are realizing a few things. Where was Sam? Why is Cassie so drawn to him?

There's a romantic double date night happening in Middleton, and Cassie and Sam meet another couple where the wife bears a striking resemblance to Cassie. One-shot.

But still—what was he doing here? She knew the simple answer. He was Sam's son, her step-brother, and he'd been at the lake house with their new family all summer long. As to why he had come out onto the back porch at eleven at night when it was clear she was the only one out there, she didn't know. They hadn't had a real conversation in over a year.

Nick always knows that Grace is special to him. Other People he loved is part of his life, but Grace is the one he shared life with. And he has made a commitment to that a long time ago. NickXGrace Nance One Shot.

Grabbing a coffee between sessions in the library, Sam unexpectedly runs into Cassandra Nightingale. He has never met a woman like her before, and they are about to turn each other's worlds upside down.

Cassie/Sam. When Grace and Nick get a chance to go away on a field trip for the weekend, Cassie and Sam look forward to some time alone. But will the weekend go as planned? Probably not. Some references to sex, but no actual sexual content.
