This is set in Camelot's Golden Years. Arthur and Gwen are King and Queen, and Merlin is the Court Sorcerer. This is about Gwen's first official engagement away from Camelot, as guests of Elena and Lord Lechard on the eve on their wedding. Very light hearted story, plenty of bantering and friendship. All of a sudden the afternoon takes an unexpected path.

For 1400 years, Merlin waited for Arthur's return. Magic has been all but extinguished, and Merlin doesn't know when or how Arthur will return, nor how they will unite Albion. Such things aren't really solved with swords anymore. When Arthur does return, Merlin realizes he's got a lot to catch up on before they can even think about uniting Albion. Pairings eventually.

"Percival- what're you doing here?" Percival wouldn't have woken him unless it was important. "We weren't sure what else to do, Sire, it's Merlin." Important, indeed. Or, the five times Arthur and his knights try to help Merlin and the one time Merlin realizes he deserves help too.

A second look at the last episode of Merlin, Season 4. What would have happened if Arthur had stumbled across Merlin and the dragon?

The final battle ended and Arthur knew about Merlin's magic all along.

Merlin told Arthur about his Magic and with it they defided Morgana and her army in the battle of Camlann. Now the golden age has trully begun in Camelot and with it comes new enemys and challenges. Will Merlin and his friends old end new; be able to fight the new threets from both inside and outside Camelot. Or will Camelot and the magic users be in danger ones again?

After an ill-fated quest, Arthur and the Knights rescue an injured Merlin from the ruins of a castle. As they journey back to Camelot, Arthur fears he will lose the chance, to ask Merlin the questions he's been longing to know. This is a one shot, set in a post reveal era.
