Taking place rather directly before the events of Cave Story proper, this story is a short yet sweet satirical tale of the incredibly bizarre and hilarious exploits of Jack and Mahin, two extremely minor characters who end up playing a disturbingly large role in shaping the game's backstory through their outrageous antics.

In a sort of Freddy Got Fingered mixed with Cave Story scenario, Jack rebuilds King and Toroko into cyborgs and discovers the revived Doctor's new plan to build a giant robot and take over the world. Bringing himself and all of his Mimiga friends down to the Earth's surface, he forms a Mimiga army to combat the Doctor's evil robot army...after learning the Doctor's dark secret.

When Quote runs away from his fellow robots during a Mimiga attack, he is immediately considered a threat to all robots. He knows he can't trust anyone...
