When Lightning Strikes: Reboot. Started writing for this story after releasing this story is not nearly as finished as I thought it was. Hitomi is transported back to Gaea, but as fate would have it; a cruel twist of fortune is continuously working to keep Hitomi and Van apart.

It's not easy being heir to the throne, especially when ancient customs require prince Van to still undergo the rite of dragon-slaying but after that is done and over with, all he wants is a cup of coffee. If you thought such a simple pleasure would come without complications for a future king, think again. AU

It's been eight years since the end of the war and both Van and Hitomi struggle with the lives fate seems to have given them. A choice made years ago and so much more has kept them apart, but when Hitomi returns unexpectedly they seem to be given a second chance.
