tRoU beginns with Ushindi, a king's second son and his best friend Askari leaving their old pride with a few companions to seek adverntures and follows them on a journey and eventually their way to the top. It also features a subplot about Guma, a hyena with ambitions that will tie into the main plot. It's a prequel to aLKS and should be read first if you don't want any spoilers.

Simba and Nala experience a miscarriage at the beginning of the story. Nala falls terribly ill afterwards. Kiara helps Simba deal with Nala's death and other stuff.

During the stampede, Simba sees how Scar throws Mufasa back into the moving herd. And like that's not enough but the king miraculously survives, however seriously injured. To save their lives, the two lions are forced to escape from The Pridelands as the kingdom falls under the darkness, starting a battle of life and death. Will they ever see their home or family again?

When Scar announce the death of Mufasa and Simba to the pride, everyone mourn them. For some, however, it is harder. Nala is heartbroken by the loss of Simba. How can she cope with this tragedy? What will happen under the rule of Scar and his hyenas? A three chapters story.

Tired of being treated like trash and in the shadow of their baby brother, Vitani and Nuka run away. But when the unthinkable happens, everyone need to deal with not just the physical scars, but the mental trauma that'll follow (AU)

If you've watched The Lion King remake in 2019 you remember the scene when Scar wants Sarabi as his queen. Obviously she rejects him. But when he is introduced, he says that he has "tremendous respect" for the Queen. So this story follows exactly that scene and what happens afterwards, but she doesn't reject him. I guess enjoy.
