This story is not particularly focused on any one pairing but instead focused on a few "canon" pairings as well as giving minor fluff moments to some crack / slash pairings. As the name says, the following fanfiction is an extended version of a scene in Lion King 2: Simba's Pride. Particularly the scene in the early parts of Simba's Pride where Zira "encounters" Simba, and the other members of the Pridelanders, near the borders of the Pride Lands.

After losing her parents at a young age to a murderous lion and facing abuse from her mean spirited aunt, a young African-Romani woman named Shani runs away from her village and ends up wandering off in the Savannah. After having a run in with three hyenas, she is rescued by a strong lion king named, Mufasa. He then takes her in and she and his son Simba go on an amazing adventure.

Simba is allways bullied, and Sarabi is lost. Mufasa is too busy being king to help Simba with his matters. All Simba wants is love, and will he find in it a unexpected lioness? Or will Simba have to live his life in pain? The only way to find out is reading on.
