Harry revisits her past and it makes her rethink some of her life choices and that has repercussions for her relationship with her partner Lieutenant James Dempsey.

This story is related to The Burning with a different twist. Dempsey reveals Harry is a cop to Mara Giardino's team and the story moves on from there. The Partners are pushed into a difficult situation to stay alive and fight another day and their relationship is severely impacted as Harry is pushed out of her comfort zone.

The drugs bust has to go to plan. Harry has been acting strangely for a while - is her relationship with Dempsey on the rocks? Can a face from the past, a long forgotten secret end everything or will a stranger save the day?

The murder of a prominent politician casts a shadow over the Winfield House and begins to unearth ghosts from Harry's past that are coming back to haunt her.
