Can an engine be too smart for their own good? That's just one of the concerns the people who handle and care for the locos in Sir Topham Hatt's big new roundhouse in Knapford have about their latest acquisition. An EU drama set in the CGI Thomasverse.

Once again, Thomas really wants to go over to the Mainland and see the world - but this time, he goes without anyone knowing where he's gone. As Thomas goes on a long journey, his friends follow his every move, hoping for their little tank engine friend to come home safe and sound, while meeting some new friends - and old faces - along the way. It's New Year's Eve, and everyone is greatly anticipating the New Year. But before the celebrations can take place, the Town Hall is in need of a new clock, which is to countdown to the New Year. So the Fat Controller orders Thomas to collect the new clock and bring it back in time for the countdown. But, as usual, things are never as simple as they seem...

In my previous story, I talked about the drivers of the engines of the Steam Team ( the original) and them being in a band together. So I think now I should show how the band got together. This story takes place in 2014, and Season 17. Some mild language.

With Ashima back in India, Thomas had no one special to spend the holiday with. Ashima weights heavily on his mind all hours of the day, and it begins to take a toll on his work. Sir Topham Hatt asks all his engines one day what they would like for Christmas. There's only one thing Thomas wants for Christmas, but it would never happen... would it?

Christmas Day is just around the corner, and the villagers on Thomas' Branch Line are looking forward to the big Christmas party. But on Christmas Eve, a power cut leaves Thomas' Branch Line without power, meaning the villagers can't celebrate Christmas. But Thomas is determined to make sure the villagers get the Happy Christmas they desire.

With Christmas drawing nearer and nearer, Percy is becoming more and more desperate to see his beloved Gina again and confess about his feelings for her. But seeing all the other couples on Sodor together isn't making his needs any easier to deal with. But, unbeknownst to Percy, the Fat Controller has a secret surprise in store for him.

While Edward is away on a job that could be his last, Thomas is left shaking with worry. Gordon is worried as well and even admits a secret. As Rosie watches her little brothers, she decides on a way to comfort them in helping them believe in the return of Edward.

Christmas is around the corner, and this year will be Rosie and Stanley's first Christmas together as a couple, and to celebrate the occasion, Stanley wants to surprise Rosie with a special present. After hearing an old legend about Christmas roses, Stanley makes it his mission to find some of these roses for his beloved rose.

When Rosie has an accident similar to James, James realizes how much Rosie was there for him in his predicament.

Emily remembers the amount of times she has saved Thomas from the snow, and becomes conceited about how she's never been stuck in the snow.
