This story is about how the Umbran Elder Witch got into power, along side her escort, Rosa. The two of them meeting with the inherent of the Right Eye and leader of the Lumen Sages, and how the two clans tore away from each other and descended into chaos.

We all know how Rosa and Balder broke the rules, had a daughter named Cereza and the witch hunts began when Loptr took control of Balder after killing Rosa. But did you ever wonder how they met? When time is manipulated it ripples and separates. Cereza triggers this by influencing her younger self, and Jeanne is, in theory, influenced by it all the way down Memory Lane. Jeanne-centric, (hopefully) fills some of her missing history without breaking canon.

When her lover slaps the ancient, musty book in front of her and asks her for an explanation of Umbran history, Jeanne remembers there is much Cereza does not know and there is no one to blame but herself.

Life isn't easy for Balder outside of his choir of Lumen. The sages are not meant to live in isolation but he had broken the tenets and now his life was adrift but perhaps an unexpected visitor might restore some sunshine to his days.

500 years ago, two children of impure blood were separated at birth by darkness and light. The girl grew to be a witch while the boy grew to be a sage. The boy will betray the light and join his sister while she asserts her role as the elder sister. Both siblings are sealed away during the hunts together only to be awakened years later.

Calamity ensues as Balder & Rosa conceive Cereza. This story talks about the clan wars between the Lumen Sages and the Umbra Witches that spread across the whole of Europe. It also talks about the downfall of the Lumen Sages as well as the events after. Please do give a review. I would love to know what you think.
