Fear's a failure, he failed to keep Riley safe and he's failed to make her happy. His friends attempt to make Riley happy but with disastrous results, as he wishes he could've stopped Anger's idea and done more for the girl he's promised to protect. He realizes upon seeing the console turn black that Riley can't feel anything anymore.

When 3 girls on an opposing hockey team cause Riley to become comatose, she goes on an unexplainable adventure through her mind, and meet the 5 little people known as her emotions. With her missing memories scattered across Mind World, she goes with Joy and Sadness to find them, only to have the last one where things are forgotten. Will she take the risk in order to get back home?

Smack dab in the middle of puberty, Riley Andersen often feels as though she can't control herself. To one's surprise, though, five emotions inside her mind think very much the same; they just can't pull their girl's strings like they used to. I sometimes wonder to myself, what exactly is my own mind composed off if Riley Anderson's consists of those tiny little people who care so deeply for her, always trying to help her make the most of every day of her life so she can be both happy and cautious at the same time. I very much doubt that my own little people can compare with saints like that...
