What if Sports Night had continued? Picking up right where Season 2 left off, this virtual Season 3 continues the behind-the-scenes story of the nightly sports news show Sports Night.

With the new sponsor, expecting success and no less from the team, they get new equipment, a new team name, jerseys and start playing like a team, recording their first win. The strong offensive force of Johnny, Banks and Phil have gained the support from their fans and their teammates, resulting in an impressive winning streak and a turn of the tide for the new team "Winter Hawks"

In this chapter, Bill goes out on a date with Camille with Johnny is invited to a sleepover with Connor. Throughout the night, they learn their current situation, get an understanding from one another and therefore make a promise. Bill says he's committed to the relationship while Connor promises to do his part in helping Johnny repeat a championship. At practice, all is forgiving.

In this chapter, the team sponsor quits and Bill and Jack come to an agreement to get a new, more profitable sponsor for the team. However, his conditions are pretty steep including getting Johnny Sullivan to join the team again. Fortunately, thanks to Jack and sporting goods store owner Micah, Bill and Johnny come to an understanding and in the process, gain shy boy, Phil Maxwell.

In this chapter, Bill searches for a few additions to his team, acquiring Blake Reinhart, who can shoot bullets. Also Jack Hobbes and his players known as Johnny Sullivan, Aaron Banks, Michael Ford, Tyler Granville and Drew Richards are featured in their first game against the Tigers. However, Bill makes changes not to their liking, which results in a loss, scrums and a departure.

A story about a Pee Wee hockey league in Wisconsin, where a high scoring, over-stacked, consistently winning Ice Hawks are force to split up amongst the other teams for equal playing and opportunity for all teams. Coach Jack Hobbes joins forces with a former player of his Bill Packer along with Hobbes' star players who join a team with a lack of many things. Overall, it's a start.
