Pazu is a normal young boy. He works in the coal mines 72 hours a week, rations his weekly government-sanctioned egg, and suppresses his dreams of becoming an engineer. Sheeta is a young girl with memory loss who is searching for a missing gem. Together, can they stop the war that is tearing their country apart? AU

Takes place right after the movie. After Pazu and Sheeta fly off into the sunset, there remains a question; what will become of their relationship? Will they go their separate ways or embrace the future together? (Read the title and take a wild guess XD)

Laputa flies in the sky, forgotten by all and hidden inside the Dragon's nest. Only a few robots still take care of the city. What can a robot feel about an empty city ?

But she also gets surprised by how cold it is out there. Pazu can help with that! Fluff so sweet your teeth will literally rot. Rated T to save the children!

This is a novelized version of the scene where Pazu is keeping nightwatch on the Tiger Moth, and Sheeta climbs up to meet him. They speak about Laputa, and Sheeta's fears about the power contained in the crystal, as well as the city. I love this scene for it's serenity, and honesty.

Pazu and Sheeta have been friends for four years and are realizing that there is more than just a friendship between them now. Those first steps towards a great love and exploring a more intimate relationship together.
