This should be a happy ending.

A one-shot prequel to the movie "The Iron Giant". Kent Mansley starts off with almost no support and a vague sense of job responsibilities, soon to be overwhelmed by something a LOT bigger than him. This story sets up the character and his position. I don't own these characters, and I'm pretty sure I would never name my kid Hogarth.

The Iron Giant's story lives on as Hogarth tells it to his twin siblings.

"I don't kiss like that for kissing's sake." Kent and Dean experiment. Post movie; one-shot.

A thoughtless nickname incites a bit of anger.

Five times Kent found Dean to be breath-taking, and the one time he said so.

December 1956. Another casualty of the early stages of the Vietnam War is reported. His last name was Hughes.

Together. That was the key thing to remember. They were together.

This is a poem I wrote about the movie of the Iron Giant.

Annie and Hogarth Hughes have inherited a farm. After living there for nearly a year now, it's obvious that they both feel more alone than ever. For her, here is no reason to go out anymore unless shopping needs to be done. Hogarth does all the farm work, and he hasn't made any friends at his new school. And on top of all of that, Annie is starting to feel sexual urges. Adults only

Their family has been threatened, their very lives jeopardized and their wills repeatedly tested, now a lost ally attempts to pull apart everything they've fought for, suffered for, and died for. If there's one thing Hogarth and the Iron Giant will do, it will be to save everyone they can. Love has done this before, but faith in others and a higher power may be their final chance.

It's been a year since the giant first came and Hogarth's life has gone back to normal. But what will happen when a surprise visitor leaves his life in total turmoil?

A Dean/Kent drabble.

Kent Mansley contemplates what's happened in Rockwell, Maine while in jail. One-shot.

He died so they could live, facing the darkness of humanity by embracing the light of his own. Now he must begin life anew, in a new place, without his human friends. COMPLETE.

Set in 1985, roughly 30 years after the Iron Giant film. Hogarth returns to his hometown, now abandoned, to visit an old friend. This is a ONE SHOT. Please Review!

One cold October day, the Giant visited a quiet town in Maine and changed that town forever. That was twenty-five years ago, and since then, the world has collectively turned a blind eye to that October day. But more of them have arrived in those twenty-five years, and Hogarth Hughes is being forced to accept a reality he tried to ignore. The Giant will not let him forget.

Takes place nearly seven years after the film. Hogarth is 16 (assuming he was 9 in the Iron Giant) and still has faint hopes of the Giant returning. Little does he know, something darker is roaming the earth. And it's searching for the Giant.

Three holidays in a row thus far have all been busts, New Years is still just around the corner however. One-shot.

What we are is never set in stone or iron. Everything is a choice. Everything we do. A short poem celebrating all The Iron Giant stands for.

Hogarth is feeling quite lonesome and a little lost. However, he quickly learns that things aren't always what they seem and sometimes you just have to let go.

Hogarth Hughes is struggling with multiple personality disorder. His mother doesn't understand and his friends can't help him. As the years go by, his condition gets worse. Can he learn to control his other personalities or would they take over for the rest of his life?

A Christmas story for the ages... and the miles. Hogarth must cope with his friend the Giant being gone while still dealing with issues that proceeded after he left and come to learn and accept things the way they are with the help of his family and those who will come to be his new friends in months to come.
