Glimmer was completely broken. Her mother was gone, the only people she had were Bow, Adora, and the princess alliance. After Adora told her that Angella was gone, Glimmer immediately teleported to her room and spent days in there. She never came out to check on Adora like she usually would, she never came out to eat warm cinnamon rolls with Bow and Adora in the mornings.

So of course, in the end, it was fitting that once again an aspect of her life was changed because of an accident.

When offered an all-expenses-paid trip to the Salineas Resort at Panama City Beach, Adora decides that she wants to spend her last summer before college with all of her friends. Catra's not sure she likes that idea, but when Adora gives her a tempting ultimatum, Catra decides she might just give her best-friend-turned-enemy a second chance.

Despite their better judgment, the Best Friend Quad decides to take the shortcut to the Crimson Waste — by flying over the storm-shrouded Beast Island. When things go wrong, Adora finds that beasts aren't the only problem she'll face on Beast Island.

King Micah and the Alliance prepare to storm the Fright Zone, but are hopelessly outnumbered by the Horde. Not only that, but Micah will have to face Shadow Weaver one on one and confront his past.
