However, after Ariel's sisters witness her rescue a human from a storm, they realize things are about to change. So begins an adventure that will rock land and sea.

Vince's college life has him bored out of his mind. He's tired of the same old and wishes he could go someplace new and interesting! Fate seems to listen, and he find himself deep beneath the ocean waves in a world ruled by mermaids. Met by suspicion from King Triton, Vince must prove himself if he wants to live in the kingdom of Atlantica as dark forces grow stronger under the sea

This is a combination twist with Disney's The Little Mermaid and Hans Christian Andersen's original tale. A letter arrives to the castle in Denmark to arrange a betrothal between Prince Eric and a distant princess from another kingdom. Time is running out as he only has four days to find the girl who saved him in the storm, and a happy ending is always uncertain.

This is an AU fic not based on the movie though it is the same characters. Nothing is as it seems and you will be surprised I think. Please review and tell me what you think because I need to know I will die if I don't know.

This is my dark intake of what would've happened in the final episode, "A Little Evil" if the Brain Sponge had attacked Ariel instead of The Evil Manta. R&R, please!
