This story takes place between the events of God Emperor of Dune and Heretics of Dune. The Tleilaxu have discovered a strange ruin on a distant planet and they seek to regain their pre-scattering stature.

Ok, I loved the first three books of the Dune saga, but there was just too little of Ghani and Farad'n in there! Here's my indulgence of how they got along. Story more complex than this pitiful summary, I promise. Rated M, to be safe.

Frankly I never bought it that Lady Jessica's entire decision to defy her order was based on simple love for her duke and knowledge that he wanted a son. Lady Jessica is too smart and the decision to pivotal for that. I have taken liberties with some pre-Dune speculations but this is what would make sense to me. I own nothing except the randomly named Desho Lek.

Irulan hoped she would never see Stilgar again but her family, Paul and the odds (definitely Paul) decided otherwise. So she waits for him as he is taking her to a camping trip. Irulgar. Mentions of Chaulni. Rated M for reasons. Complete.

This short story I wrote in 2007 when I searched for some literature with House Ordos (from the computer games and the Dune Encyclopedia) in it and could not find it. Mentat Ammon is a very greedy and opportunistic man who has just been recruited by the mysterious House Ordos.
