Beowulf and Grendels fight is underway...when suddenly something unexpected happens

You probably know the story of Beowulf, the brave warrior, but What about Grendel? For my 12th grade English assignment, I chose to write Grendel's side of the story. I hope You like it.

An additional battle for Beowulf to undergo: Beowulf must fight his shadow, Beoweoan, after starting a pride fight with the lesser son of Hygelac, Eantheow.

This a shortened and darker version of the ballad, Beowulf. WARNING: The ballad is darker and the narration does not side with the hero. Contains: blood, mild gore, and character deaths. Reader discretion is advised.

For my English class we were assigned to take the battle between Beowulf and Grendel and write it in Grendel's point of view. This probably the best thing I've ever written. Criticism welcomed!

Halve-Blood In the beginning there was dragons, elves, vampires, werewolves, mermaids, orks, succumbas, warlocks, giants and humans. As time pasted there was a war that made the world order changed as humans went extinct giant followed then orks and then elves and last was the mermaids only things that was left standing was vampires, werewolves, dragons, warlocks and succumbas.

It is not a nice place." - had to write this for a school assignment. I wrote it to be read aloud to kids age 4 to 8.

The unwritten scene of Grendel's death. This fits exactly in Seamus Heaney's translation. (That's what the quotes and line numbers are fore.) Written in his style, with caesura, kennings, and alliteration. Rating T for gore.

After the conclusion of Beowulf, many people wonder what exactly becomes of the Geats, Wiglaf in particular. - A short story I wrote for an English project. Hopefully, in time, I will develop this into the grand tale it has the potential to be.
