Achilles changes throughout the story of the Trojan War in manys ways. He became softer, more sympathetic, and realized that peace might just be more important than having your name remembered as a war hero. Briseis had a huge impact on Achilles and may have been the most important factor in his change. Before he died in Troy, he told her, "You gave me peace, in a lifetime of war."

What if Briseis had the chance to choose - Troy or Achilles? This is an AU to what happened in Troy where Patroclus was caught before Hector could kill him.
