After the death of her aunt, Ange decided to go on a quest to find out the truth about the Rokkenjima Massacre. She ended up asking the help of a certain detective.

It's been over a month since the final events, and everyone is now living a fun and peaceful life. Now there is a new kid in the village, becoming good friends with everyone. After knowing Mion can't win Keiichi's affections, she has moved on to somebody new, whom everyone adores. But beyond that, something new and drastic is happening.

This a a reader x Mion fanfic. Felt like this hasn’t been done. At least not a lot so I decided why the hell not and magmde it. Here it is. Enjoy it.

It has been brought to my attention that no one ever officially named June as the unofficial "Higurashi Month" in which the fandom revs up and posts all sorts of pictures, stories, and general content per a daily prompt or some such thing. This is borderline blasphemous and I have done my best to remedy it, by posting a prompt list and a series of daily short snippets this June.

Ange was supposed to be spared of Rokkenjima's horrors. Beatrice can't fathom why she would willingly return, but for a moment, it's all in good fun.
