The war Against the Abyssals has been going poorly. in no small part due to a incompetent Admiral. the United States and Japan get rid of this admiral and find a replacement to be the overall commander of all Kanmusu belonging to the United States and Japan. The man they pick is rather unorthodox, but is believed to be the man for the job to clean up the mess that was left behind.

A young man is stationed at a naval base full of shipgirls as an assistant mechanic. However, his past starts catching up to him as he tries to fix problems for the shipgirls.

She was but a wayward soul among countless others, seeking purpose in a world drunk in power and discord. It was a simple innocent wish inscribed on a handwritten archive—a journey that wouldn't decide the fate of humanity. Rather, the fates of those who are most precious to her.

In their world, there was a theory; that upon sinking a Ship-Girl would become an Abyssal, and an Abyssal would become a Ship-Girl. What that theory didn't account for, was for the transformation to happen without either side sinking. [Smut]

Tenryuu hadn't though much of the things she'd seen months ago for a long time. The fire and darkness she'd seen she'd passed off as her being overworked/stressed/tired.
