He knows what that's like, wanting to do something that will actually affect the crazed situation they are both lost in, but not being able too. Because he has to reassure the kingdom that everything will be alright and she needs to keep a cool head and find their missing king as he does it, and he knows that's a huge weight on both their shoulders

(AU, S2E16 spoilers) After Clover when down, protecting the kingdom. Which Julien was going to do, Clover took his place. Stating it was her duty. Julien hopes to find her. Not realizing, what trial would happen after that. Something he hasn't face before, and isn't ready for. Will he be finally take care of, would it be his end? Or will go though the trial, stronger then before?

[This before S3E4, and after To Follow my Heart] The kingdom is back to normal. Julien has returned to his kingly duties, and Clover is back to her bodyguard duties. They are together, and happy with each other. Clover went to check on Julien, at the Cover of Wonders. Where he found something new, and they put a show for the kingdom. One-Shot (Jover)

Spoilers for S2E4, "Pineapple of My Eye". Maurice has trouble sleeping because his mind keeps supplying him with nightmares about the previous day's scare. The scenario in the nightmare is plausible, so it's hard to tell apart reality from a dream. However, there is one way to ascertain that everything is indeed still fine.

King Julien did an excellent job saving his people from the fossa, and reintroducing partying into the lemur society. What got ignored in the process, however, was the large wound caused by the fossa bite Julien received in his heroic battle. Inflammation caused fever happens, much to the inconvenience of Julien and Maurice. Shameless fluff/WAFF.

Prince Julien finds himself not having parents anymore, while his uncle has became the king. Maurice, of course, is there for him, but he alone isn't enough to fill the void that has suddenly formed in Julien's heart. The Prince needs to find a purpose for his life, and something to fill his days with. But what? This is a prelude to the cartoon, a glimpse into Julien's past.

It had all happened so fast. He remembered hearing her cry out as the bullet struck her; sending her plowing into the ground. He remembered screaming her name, scrambling to his feet and rushing to her, only to see her motionless body outstretched in front of him.

She's been writing in that notebook for a long time now, and it's about time someone looked inside it.
