She was supposed to be a normal cucco shepherdess from Kakariko Village, but she knew that she was the Hero reborn. The day after Linkle's birthday, a visitor from the Gerudo continent brought darkness to Hyrule. This darkness was foreseen by the widely disbelieved princess, Zelda, and it threatened the entire world. -Character death is highly probable in this story.

Zelda -A now 20 year old girl- seems to be out of her mind recently, after a certain blonde tourist moved into her village. Is there a reason behind all this? Is there a reason behind a treasured belonging of hers gets stolen without her approval? Read to find out. Modern-ish times. I would say early 00s.

Link isn't sure of how they got here, to a forest draped in silver and golden leaves, blooms of the deepest red falling gently to the ground as they wander. The last thing they remember is fighting a Guardian, the bright flash of light as it shot a beam of searing energy towards them. And now here they are, standing at the edge of a bubbling brook.

"Wh-what happened?" Red asks, wiping away a leftover tear from their earlier farewell. "We're still four?" Blue says in disbelief. Green yanks the sword out, gaping at it incredulously. After defeating Ganondorf Link returns home. He thought his life would go back to being normal but then one day he finds his once enemy injured in the forest. Unable to leave him like that he takes him home and tends to him.

After Link wakes up and is told the fate of Hyrule rests in his hands, he needs to get off the Great Plateau and find his way to Kakariko Village. He ends up helping a girl, and she offers to show him the way.

A post-BOTW story following the lives of Link and Zelda after the fall of Calamity Ganon. Heavy Zelink, kind of a slowburn. Rated T just to be safe. :)
