Link doesn't deal well with emotions, so Mipha sticks around to remind him that she will always love him. This is the journey Link takes regaining his memories to finally realise what those words she always imparted to him really mean. OR: Fluffy flashback leads to Link working through his emotions and survivor's guilt surrounding the calamity and the fall of his friends.

In the throes of war, Calamity Ganon pierced Link, striking him down. The Princess swiftly sealed Link away, but unbeknownst to them, he had been infected with Malice. For 100 years it festered inside him, transforming him into something less than Hylian. Though on the outside a monster, a hero lies within, and in spite of his trials, he will rise to right the wrongs of Hyrule.

What if Zelda actually had discovered her sealing powers on that fateful day, and Link and Mipha were able to be together? A Link / Mipha story.

They were about to transform back into normal, but a certain trio of baddies won't let that happen! The question is though, is that really a disadvantage?

This FanFiction is set in the Child Era timeline well after Four Swords, Also please bear with me I know the land of Hyrule changes every single game and I tried to incorporate that.
