This is a fictional interpretation of Othello's Act 1: Scene 3, and is based on how I prefer to imagine the story. I wrote it the night before it was due in class, and plan on going back to develop on my existing structure. Please, enjoy and offer criticism so that I can improve this piece. Act 5 Scene 2. Othello is watching Desdemona sleep. He's confused, muddled and disturbed.

Most everyone important to him has died and now Cassio dives into his new life as a celebrated general. However, many years later, Cassio sees his daughter making the very same motions as his dears friends Othello and Desdemona did. Can he prevent her from making the same mistakes?

A reimagining of the final scene of Shakepeares Othello, set in modern times, with a twist on the narrative. I have incorporated a few lyric from Joy Division, as I think the dark lyrics and tragedy of Othello/Cado go hand in hand.
