Harm decides it's time to stop letting fate decide and make his own destiny. This is what I would love to see on the NCIS LA Season 11 premiere.

Here is one version of what should have happened in Harm's apartment in the last episode based on my limited understanding of the realities of military life. The story assumes Harm graduated from Annapolis in 1985. He would have 18 years in the Navy in 2005 when the show ended.

My take on the NCIS LA season Premier

Harm. & Mac begin their life together, while both deal with the reality of Harm's decision to resign his commission. Spoiler alert: Mac doesn't handle it very well. (Continuation of It Started in Russia, and Everything is Going to Be Okay)

When Mac joins the CIA in order to protect Harm, she turns into someone that operates without emotions. Can Harm save her before it's too late?

After a conversation with a friend of his Harm gains some advice on his relationship with Meg Austin after nearly losing her to an assassin and being put into a coma. Harm decides to tell her the truth about his real feelings towards the JAG lawyer from Texas. Different way things could have gone at the end of the Hemlock episode.

Sometimes things just... happen.

One-night stands can have lifelong repercussions. (Harm/Mac eventually.)

After his plane goes down at sea, Harm is missing. Will Mac be able to find him?

[New Meg/Animal Timeline] When the aftermath of actions taken in 1990 during a trade war gone hot with Japan is found out as Animal gets called to the Japanese Consulate to hear about the death of a family member; Animal learns the true cost of serving his country as a naval officer in the United States Navy. And Meg learns just what that choice has cost him.

[New Meg/Animal Timeline] Rewrite - When two naval aircrewmen are downed over enemy territory; Animal goes against orders to retrieve them. When the XO decides to bring charges against Animal for disobeying a direct order, will it scuttle the battle group commander's recommendation for the nation's highest award for military heroism? Will Harm be able to save Animal's career?

Companion piece to "The Women You Pick." Harm is fed up with Mac's choice of men and decides some action on his part is in order. A one-shot set during "A Tangled Webb II."

Mac's POV and Harm's POV. Addresses what was revealed in NCIS: LA. "At first, things were great. We were so happy, but for as happy as we were, we never could decide on a date for the wedding. I can't help but to wonder if that was a bad omen all along. Maybe we knew deep down that it wouldn't work out and we were just waiting for our happy little bubble to burst."

Mac has had enough of Harm's relationships with other women and decides to do something about it. A one-shot set around the time of "The Four Percent Solution."

The CIA sends Harm and Mac to play husband and wife on a mission that has some strange rules of engagement. *COMPLETE*

Animal and the CIA do not play well together. Webb requires air support for a mission to go after Sadik Fahd and his Al Qaeda cohorts. Catherine and Harm have opted to continue the façade of marriage for her mother's sake. Catherine Gale/Harm Rabb R. Paraguay; post-Back In The Saddle: Mac and Harm have had a complete and utter falling out; their relationship is in tatters.
