I admit I'm spinning this one out: the full reconciliation between Percy and Marguerite. Baroness Orczy shows us almost nothing of it and yet it is such an essential part of their story. I'm spinning it out because I don't want to reach the end! And because I don't have any ideas for what might follow. So I'm only slowly working towards the inevitable conclusion...

This follows the scene in "Somewhere in the middle", and picks up from where "I shall be for ever in your debt" left off. I'm hoping, eventually, to explore completely the reconciliation between Percy and Marguerite, which - very frustratingly, I've always felt - Baroness Orczy omitted to do at the end of "The Scarlet Pimpernel". It's fluff, of course.

This very short "ficlet" follows on directly from my "Something in the middle", after the escape at the end of Baroness Orczy's first Pimpernel book. It is much more lighthearted than my last post "All was not yet complete"; I am sorry if that was too close to home for some.

More of the usual. With added fainting (which I'm still not sure I should have put in - she's no wimp, Marguerite Blakeney, is she? But it seemed kind-of right.)

What if a very special young lady gets embroiled with the League...Romance, Swashbucking, some angst and hopefully a nice twist. A little AU. First attempt at a multi chapter story which has been rattling around in my head for a while. Not changing the key story lines, but messing with timeline a bit and offering a new perspective.
