In the skies off of the Viridian Coast, floats the majestic islands of Heavens Reach. On these islands is the school of Hongmoon, a special martial art developed by the legendary master, Master Hong. Only a few students have entered under the Masters teachings but all of which have become legendary warriors. However, things on Heavens Reach are about to get much more interesting.

Jyansei began by remembering his past. Or rather, the future hits him all at once and Jyansei is left breathless by knowing what is yet to come. He would never be able to anticipate things properly, and it was about due time that he learned how. (He learns how to change the world.)

Chol Mugo is struggling with repeated fiend attacks and leaks of dark chi affecting his fleet and harbors. In addition, it would appear he has a traitor among his ranks. Story takes place 10 years before the events of the game. The Blackram are given nicknames like the real-life pirates often had. During their stay, they decide to figure out more about who they are and run into a few interesting characters along the way. What was supposed to be a friendly get together for Alexis may turn into something more.
