Holden Caulfield, came to Modern China in a research program, especially designed for adolescents. Holden witnessed the heavy smog in Peking, experienced the hard life of remote villagers, and he was also touched by the story of one American university graduate who had similar growth experience. Finally, Holden returned to his family and his society physically and spiritually.

Twenty years have passed since the infamous Christmas with Holden, and Phoebes life has taken a new turn...but tragedy has always followed her and it isn't going to stop now. At the end of the day the only she could do was watch.

Holden has just become 'sick' and has now been admitted. 'But now it's time for my first session of treatments. It seems the hope is that a regular dose of guilt administered by my family will help keep me grounded. Maybe even learn to act my age and "quit this tantrum." ' These our the transcripts from those first sessions of treatment with Holden's family.

This is a pastiche that could be inserted into chapter 25 on page 202. In italics is Salinger's original work, while the rest was what I took creative license on. It is of a previous teacher of Holden seeing him at the elementary school and psychoanalyzing him.

This is the fight between Stradlater and Holden Caulfield in Chapter 6. The fight is over Stradlater's date with Jane G. This is told from the view of Stradlater to Holden's psychoanalyst.

Headcannon sequel to The Catcher in the Rye: This is from the perspective of Holden's psychiatrist, Dr. Eric Phantom and his opinion on Holden.

This story follows Vincent Glass, Buddy's Glass's son. Takes inspiration from several Salinger stories.

Basically I wrote this for an old Englsih assiment where I had to add something to the book of The Catcher in the Rye in 850 words. I got fairly good praise and I just wanted to see what others thought :)

An additional chapter, where Holden has just seen the movie "Snow White" and makes remarks about it with his sarcastic, funny tone.
