Someone he loves, as in Constance, have gone missing. Obstacles distracts him from finding her, but he will succeed, he must. Because he had planned his proposal towards her. D'Artagnan fights bravely through it and finds himself in a new position. But there was a twist that D'Artagnan didn't keep in his mind.
