The buzz of fluorescent bulbs, the crackle of the amplifier, the chatter of friends. And beneath it all, the void continues to sing.

This is meant to be the squeal/ closer to Night in the woods. They say change is inevitable. They say a lot of things. Some welcome it. Some hate it. Some are prepared. Some aren't. But what do you do when the change you tried so hard to avoid, sacrificed so much for is now what you want more then anything? They say you cant run forever. I beg to differ.

Meet Scott, a simple cat who lives in Pussom Springs with his mother.

This story takes place six months after the events of NiTW it is my loose interpretation & continuation of the story about a band of friends as they try to move on with their lives after having overcome a sinister cultist group, something ominous is afoot that begins affecting them all in different ways as a darkness looms over the horizon. Contains hurt/comf gore violence & sex.

Nitw. Mae returns to Possum Springs from a trip with Bea after the events in the games following the Bea ending. Mae wakes up in a strange world. She has to survive and find a way out. (Spoilers, probably)

When her neighbor dies unexpectedly, Mae Borowski wants to pretend everything is okay, but clues soon begin to arise, warning of a new danger that has come to Possum Springs.

Five years after the events in-game, Mae and Bea have saved up enough money to move to Bright Harbor, following in Gregg and Angus' footsteps. Now living with Bea, Mae struggles to hide her feelings for her. Things don't always go how you wanted them to, however, but that doesn't mean that what happens instead can't also be what you truly wanted.

Casey and Gregg didn't take their best friend leaving for college too well, as the two always hoped they'd remain a trio. Although Gregg was more willing to accept Mae's interest in post-secondary education, Casey grew quite resentful, making college a topic very hard for her to bring up. Right after she had left, Gregg and Casey would have to spend their time together.

Molly meets some resistance when she tries to become more involved in her niece's life, and the state police aren't making her life any easier.

With the arrival of winter, Mae is eager to come to terms with the strange events of Autumn and tackle her lingering anxieties by... writing a diary?

However, after acquiring a house in the outskirts of Possum Springs for himself and his band mates, he comes into contact with a particularly stand-offish crocodile. Gregg and Angus have moved on to bigger and better things, leaving Mae and Bea alone in their home town. But perhaps things don't have to be so bad, even in a small town with no cell reception and an elder god sleeping below.

Bea is going to work at a cabin in the woods and Mae wants to go along for the ride. Takes place in the middle of the game Night in the Woods.
