After the episode "The Tide Mice" Johanna and Alfur go to the Library to set things right and make up for Hilda's mistake. However, once they arrive Johanna discovers that the one running the library is someone that she held dear in her heart.

After hearing rumors about a mirror hidden within the library, Hilda and her friends decide to investigate and see if it's actually true. However, upon discovery, the group manage to bring in alternate versions of themselves over into their own world. Now the group must find a way to bring their alternate selves back into their own world while making sure nothing happens.

While exploring the woods in search of flowers, Hilda and her friends come across a flower known as a Saffrander. However as David took a look at it, some sort of purple like dust got into Twig's eyes causing him to leave a bite on Hilda. What effect could this bite have left, nobody is sure yet.. Frida is plagued by thoughts of Kelly, while Hilda meets a fellow girl with strange-colored hair, and similar family secrets. Meanwhile, a devastating rash of murders shake the town.

Alfur goes to interview the beast that makes noises in Hilda's stomach when she is hungry.

When a mysterious red light appears, two new figures from another dimension came to a dimension where Hilda from the new Netflix show Hilda lives. Now Richard (OC) needs to find a way to get back home, while at the same time trying to protect other people from danger and not letting bad people getting their hands on a magical amulet. While Hilda helps out Richard with his emotions.

Jealousy is hard to deal with when Hilda realizes that her friends have grown taller than her and she has yet to budge in height. When she sneaks out into the wilderness to take her mind off of it, she gets too caught up in enjoying the nature and ends up putting herself in a small predicament.

Kesha is hungry, so she goes to Trolberg.
