Along their memory lane, Merante suggests home-grown Odette that they go to Russia for the summer to see what he's been up to while being a decade apart. When Odette agrees, she discovers that the Ballet Master has events not written in his letters.

"Odette, wait… will you dance with me?" She's not sure if she can anymore. A short post-movie scene where Merante finds Odette in an abandoned practice room and maybe asks for the impossible.
