This story starts before season one. Marion is still alive and is working on getting Ty released on probation to her. In this story there will be no accident so Marion is alive and I will explore what might have happened had she been in her family and Ty's life. So the Title "WHAT IF".

It was midafternoon. Lisa drove over to Heartland. It was really cold outside since it was in the middle of the winter. It was not just a day. Today it was one year ago Jack and Lisa had married each other. In secret admittedly. And a lot of things had happened in that year.

I started this story towards the end of Season 11. Pretty dismal day around here today and finishing this was a result of that mood. It's by no means a happy story but it ends well, with love and the family moving on. This is a one shot.

My annual Christmas story. The tensions are high when Lou comes back to Hudson from New York to spend Christmas with the rest of the family. While the plans don't go quite the way anyone expected them to go, without anyone knowing, this Christmas turns out to be something the family will look back on for many years to come.
