But they are not the only cryptids to 'exist, instead they are beings that have not been identified yet, and they walk with humans.

Based on the 1981-83 TV series The Greatest American Hero. Makoto Naegi is an ordinary teenager, and lives an ordinary life, but things changed as he is chosen to enrolled at Hope's Peak Academy, and he hoped that his new life would become "extraordinary". However, "luck" would change his life after encountering a UFO and gives him a "costume" that gives him "super powers".

Based on the 1980 Stephen King novel. Mr. and Mrs. Naegi once worked for the Future Foundation due to their supernatural powers but left to start a family and live quietly, but the Foundation was secretly watching them, and upon discovering that Makoto and Komaru having supernatural powers, they intend to capture them, killing the Naegi parents, and the two siblings are on the run
