What's in a name to a man that has many? William Carter, magician. Maxwell Carter, King of Shadows. After stumbling into a deadened world, the owner of both is forced to reckon with who he is...and what he will be.

Ever since all the survivors were united, things were good. No one had died, even though it was midway through their first winter. But that changed when the Deerclops attacked. Now Willow is tormented by the haunting memories of her now-dead best friend, Wilson. But it turns out that maybe she was being haunted in more ways than one. (Or, no one knows dead survivors become ghosts.)

Allena Jones, a young woman working a summer job at a local museum, makes a fascinating discovery while tending to a popular exhibit. As she comes to learn, however, first impressions can be terribly misleading. When she is cast into the terrifying wilderness of the Constant, it will take all she has just to keep herself alive. What, then, will it take to get her home?

The shadows have been around for ages. Twisting and turning, attacking and attaching themselves to others. Turning lives upside down. Wilson believed that he would be better off secluded and alone throughout most of his life. His perspective changed once he was thrown into a confusing and dark land. It was a terrible place, to say the least, but the people that he would meet there would soon mean everything to him. Rated T for language and some minor dark themes; warnings will be provided if necessary.

The Constant had plenty of things to worry about. Monsters, sanity, hunger, and health. But not everyone has a strong immune system, and not everyone has at least some knowledge and work in medical skills. Unless you happen to be Wilson.

After surviving a rather terrifying experience, Wilson P. Higgsbury finds himself once more in the wilderness of the Shadow World trying to cope with the conditions being thrown at him. Though what he didn't count on was the arrival of a new ruler... and someone he isn't sure he can call an ally.

A tropical yet dangerous area that these three survivors happily call home. See how it began for them before they met those of main land much later down the line.

The shadows are always looking for new survivors. New prey to mess with. Each new addition brings a wish that brought them there. For Veronica, her wish brings new legends and a being that hasn't been seen in the constant for ages.

Wilson, the genius scientist, is given forbidden knowledge by a mysterious figure and builds a machine. Unknowly the figure does not want to help but trap the scientist in a horrific world of killer monsters, magic objects, and unstoppable giants. All are different but all have the same goal, to kill Wilson. (Rated T for Mild Language, Brief Blood and Gore, and Scary Moments)

Survive the Shadows series - This world is full of darkness. Darkness and light ebbing and flowing, ever intertwining. Life is always a balance of both. Echoes of the past, of the future all intertwining together. The shadows always lurking at the edges of even the brightest light. Especially for those who walk the path of shadows.

After meeting a strange lady in a dream (or was it), Wilfred (OC) has been transported to a strange place, where things are not as they seem. Meeting other friends along the way, very interesting friends, they will learn about each other together, be friends together(or maybe even more the friends) and especially Don't Starve Together. This story will have all characters from DS U.

Wilson suffers and has an epiphany

How much of yourself will you give to survive? Charlie is on the throne and unlike Maxwell she doesn't care to make things fair for the survivors, she just wants to crush them.

Wilson P. Higgsbury considered himself to be a very nice gentlemen. A gentleman of science. However, while he may be polite and friendly, he does not extend that to everyone. Namely, pirates. So what would happen if said scientist just so happened to get himself mixed up with a ragtag group of scallywags on an adventure he never asked for? "SEND ME BACK HOME!" "NO!"

Between new Kings and old sins, Maxwell has a less than stellar time as a survivor.
