SAMPLE UNTIL LATE 2020: Mrs. Bennet fled from Longbourn with her lover and Jane two months after Elizabeth was born, leaving little Elizabeth behind with Mr. Bennet. Mr. Bennet dedicated his life to raising Elizabeth. He had loved Elizabeth dearly from the first time he picked his little girl up and she smiled her baby smile at him, and grabbed at his sideburns.

Mr. Collins, the Bennets' cousin, is a handsome, amiable gentleman, much to the surprise of his relations at Longbourn. He and Elizabeth easily fall into a close friendship. Mr. Collin's growing affection for Elizabeth does not go unnoticed by Mr. Darcy, prompting new twists and turns in this classic romance. (Elizabeth/Darcy HEA)

Elizabeth, amazed at such a glowing appraisal of Mr. Darcy's character, could not help but add: "he hardly seemed to treat you with generosity or kindness." Mr. Wickham replied: "I am ashamed to admit that his greeting yesterday was no less than I deserved. Both he and his father—my godfather —treated me most generously, and I repaid their generosity in the worst of ways."

Modern AU. After his catastrophic love declaration at Hunsford, Darcy's relationship with Elizabeth takes an unexpected turn. (Complete!)

Modern. After the overall disastrous meeting with Darcy at Rosings, Lizzy contemplates how much she actually knows the man she claims to hate. However, there's not much time to obsess after Jane calls to tell her about their suddenly pregnant sixteen year old sister who is currently being tossed out of the farm by their mother. She still can't get him out of her head, though.

Sometimes, just the smallest, most fleeting contact is enough to set one's heart aflutter. A canon-compliant, Regency one-shot inspired by the period drama trope of meaningful, momentary, spark-inducing touches.

What if Elizabeth didn't receive a letter from Darcy following his disastrous proposal in Kent? What if Mr Darcy received some worrying news that altered his need for a wife? Darcy finds himself in urgent need of an heir and his quest to find a suitable wife drastically alters the events of Pride and Prejudice. Will they ever be able to overcome their misunderstandings?
